The Shimano Catana EX Spinning Rod is the upgrade from the DX model and has been modified so the blank and associated casting weights are more refined, balanced and perfectly aligned.

The blank is constructed from XT40 and Geofibre combined that produces incredible rigidity and high tensile strength with a lightweight for improved balance.

The rod offers a moderate-fast action which suits anglers from a range of skill levels and delivers a progressive action which is ideal for all-round usage. Each rod is also fitted with high quality guides throughout and a Seaguide XSS reel seat with vibra-spot for optimum feel.

The rod includes a cork handle and is finished with classic Catana graphics and a vibrant red coloured blank to catch the eye.
